I was incredibly fortunate to recently taste through the Spottswoode vertical from 2001 to 2007 as I set up this tasting at the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta, and also meet (again) Mary and Beth Novak. The wines all showed beautifully - rich, supple, full of intense character and elegance. The 2007 was a monster, and will use some years in the bottle. Bravo to the Novaks and their vision!
