Typical mountain fruit. Jammy. A little bit of spice. Would be very good with grilled meats-especially pork, lamb or beef. Probably not grilled chicken. It's too big for that.

This wine is great. It's made of 2 clones of sauv. blanc: Musque, which gives it some floral qualitities; and Vert, which is a bit milder. These are the 2 major clones of California sauv blancs. Also, the vines were planted near semillon vines, so that gave the grapes (and thus the wine) a little more richness. Dense planting & head traning, too. I really liked this and found it especially refreshing. Polished it off really quickly!
