A dry and spicy, nicely made wine that’s leesy with good minerality and underlying dry floral notes.

Scents of stone and anise lead into pretty floral notes. Clean and racy, this comes across with a pleasing minerality. There’s a good leesy texture to the midpalate. The only quibble is that it turns a little bit soft and soapy as it hits the finish.

This is sugary sweet, light and hinting at honeysuckle, melon and tea.

Plenty of wood, a waxy quality and flavors of light honey, toast and spice with faint apricot (dried) fruit.

This has scents of cracker, artificial sweetener and candied citrus. Tastes better than it smells; quite dry, a bit astringent, with lemon rind, dried pineapple and hints of orange.

This has the lift and berry-loaded kick of a young Côtes-de-Rhône, but without the texture or herbal detail. It’s all up front, a mix of berries and vanilla wafer, sure to please if you don’t look for too much beyond that. Serve it up with simple grilled foods.

This is a light, well-balanced Yakima Valley take on Merlot, with fresh strawberry and raspberry fruit flavors lightly dusted with chocolate. A pleasant quaffing wine for sure, but nothing substantial about it.
