An interesting wine that marches to a different beat when it comes to today’s buttery, ripe Chards. This one’s austere and minerally, with a Meyer lemon drop taste, high acidity and a very dry finish. It’s elegant and polished.

Tough in tannins, with a minty, green streak to the cherries and blackberries. Tasty but hard now. Could develop with some time in the bottle. Try after 2010.
