Starts out muddled and murky, and eventually settles on rich, raisiny and slightly stewed. Seeing that this is Toro, some overripeness is almost a given, and thus the black fruit and licorice flavors are expected. Finishes warm, toasty and short, with a candied hollowness.

The nose is a little musty, but like a stinky blue cheese, it tastes much better than it smells! A nice medium bodied red with hints of spice and pleasant tannins.

Delicious. Reminded me instantaneously of the cinnanomon candies in red wrappers on the nose and in the mouthfeel. Luscious Tempranillo sans any of the harsh tannin character that once in a while I encounter. Tasty!
