Rasule Alte is Nerello Mascalese with 30% Merlot. This combination results in a beautiful wine that is as soft and lush as it is fruity and elegant. The two varieties make for an interesting combination and the wine ends with dusty mineral nuances.

With one more year of age on it, this edition of Rasule Alte (Nerello Mascalese with 30% Merlot for additional softness) delivers a plush mouthfeel and a good balance of mineral versus fresh berry aromas. The wine is tonic and clean and there are cola or cherry soda notes on the close.
