Slightly closed and neutral at the start, give this wine a few minutes to open up. It will reveal tones of red forest berry, cedar wood, spice and tobacco. It has a sharp feel in the mouth with sour cherry flavors on the finish. Imported by Frederick Wildman & Sons, Ltd.

All over the map. There’s maple, acetone and candy on the nose, and the fruit flavors morph from sweet to sugary sweet to artificial all in one sip. Saving graces come in the cinnamon and cocoa powder nuances.

A beautiful Venetian villa is surrounded by 200 acres of vineyard and is the setting in which this fine Amarone is crafted. Rhubarb, plum, black cherry exotic spice, espresso and caramel are backed by toast and cedar notes. It has chewy length, refreshing crispness and good power on the finish.
