From Kestrel vineyard fruit, this dark and smoky red wine is three-quarters Cabernet Sauvignon, one-quarter Cabernet Franc. The interesting nose is layered with plum, berry, grilled meat and brown sugar. Fruit flavors are ripe and sweet, and the tannins, though thick, are ripe and polished.
