A bit rooty and spicy, with aromatic notes of root beer, cinnamon, tea and cedar. Features somewhat of a tannic, racy feel, with flavors running toward cherry. One taster found it a touch minty and leafy, but two-thirds of our panel approved of the wine’s zesty, snappy characteristics.

This is full throttle Amarone with dark concentration and a generous bouquet of ripe fruit, black stone and Spanish cedar. The wine has impressive intensity and a dense, ripe palate peppered with mature berry flavors.

This is beautiful but so atypical, it’s difficult to place within the wider range of Amarone styles. Very extracted and almost impenetrable in appearance, the wine offers Cab-like smells of green pepper, herb and licorice. It also delivers sweet chocolate, vanilla-nut and spice.
