Zinfandel is one of the hardest varieties to get right, but Trailhead threads the needle with this dry, rich wine. It’s delicious in cherry, bacon, pine, wild herb and spice flavors, wrapped into smooth tannins. Shows Zin’s briary edge while maintaining Napa balance.

Polished and flavorful, and a good price for this wealth of creamy pineapples, limes and peaches. Really rich all the way through to the spicy finish.
