Packed with direct, easy fruit, it is labeled Pinot Gris rather than Grauburgunder. It has light, almost fresh flavors, a crisp apéritif style. Imported by Winemonger.com.

As befits a reserve, this is a step up from Tscheppe’s standard Pinot Gris. Full of white fruit flavors, with some toast from wood aging, and plenty of richness. Imported by Winemonger.com.

This tasty, full-bodied white is a bit simple, but makes up for that with bold, assertive flavors of pear and melon. Try with simple fish or chicken dishes, or as an apéritif. Imported by Winemonger.

Herbal and grapefruity on the nose, followed by melon flavors. A bit on the simple side, but shows nice plumpness in the midpalate and more grassy notes on the finish.

Oakier than Tscheppe’s regular bottling but ultimately not any more pleasurable. Toasty, mealy scents mask peach and melon flavors; the mouthfeel is thick and rich. Finishes with a hint of alcohol and a strong taste of nutty oak. Imported by Winemonger.

A balanced and appealing Chardonnay with a slight floral cast to its aromas and a custardy texture. Pear, mineral and citrus flavors round out the package.
