The “Reserve” on the label is hardly appropriate in this banal version of what is normally a racy varietal. This version shows a mild fruit in a somewhat stewed version.

Thin and simple, although there are some nice nectarine, peach and pear flavors. It’s a simple, everyday Chardonnay at a price everyone can afford.

A wonderful appetizer wine, dry, clean and zesty in acidity, with appealing citrus, apple, lemongrass, vanilla and honeysuckle flavors. A great restaurant by-the-glass sipper. Production was 136,000 cases.

The alcohol is nice and low on this pretty little Riesling, and the residual sugar is apparent in the sugary apricot, peach and honeysuckle flavors. It’s clean and tart in acidity. If you like a rather sweet white wine, it’s for you.

Good for Turning Leaf for making this wine as dry and crisp as it is. Goes against the sweet style in favor of restraint, showing citrus, grass and vanilla flavors, with mouthwatering acidity.
