Pretty berry fruit and mineral on the nose give this affordable Shiraz character, and on the palate it’s dominated by a smoky, simple offering of Shiraz flavors. Not terribly complex, but unique and good for everyday enjoyment.

This lively wine has a deep nose of cassis, pencil eraser and tobacco. A Bordeaux blend, it tastes like a fine wine of that region, with a core of dark berry fruit accented by some tobacco. Wrapped in moderate tannins with a dry, dusty feel and finishing with cassis, this is a value-priced wine to stock up on. Drink over the next two years.

This wine is easy to drink, relatively complex and a great value. Meaty, barnyardy scents open to reveal toast and dark berry, and flavors of ripe plum and meat. Full-bodied and warm, despite only 13.5% alcohol, this wine has good acid and tannin, and a dry mouthfeel. Finishes ashy and warm. Imported by USA Wine Imports.

This wine is clumsy in the mouth for a Sauvignon Blanc, with little acidity. It's sweet, with aromas and flavors of yellow fruit and straw, and a bit of sulphur note on the nose.
