Milk chocolate, blueberry, black cherry and spice open the nose of this rubycolored blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. In the mouth, it offers dense structure, soft fruit flavors and a touch of exotic spice on the close.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
This is a dark and impenetrable wine with a perfumed bouquet of pressed roses, exotic spice, wild berries and a touch of pipe tobacco. It tastes rich, sweet and chewy in the mouth and ends with a blast of fresh berries and spice.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Here’s a cheerful, no-fuss white blend from central Italy (with Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes) that would pair with informal rice or pasta salad. Citrus, floral and peach flavors wash over the palate.

Moma is a Sangiovese-based wine with elements of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that lend structure and softness respectively. The nose boasts ripe fruit and loads of oak driven spice, vanilla, clove and cinnamon.

Ca’ Grande is a simple, crisp and light expression of Sangiovese from central Italy that offers clean pulses of cherry, cassis and blue flower. Pair this no-fuss wine with pasta and ragù or cheesy pizza.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Packaged in a big, heavy bottle, this Riserva Sangiovese shows elegant tones of wild berry, blue flowers, moist earth and spice. This is a very traditional take on Italy’s favorite indigenous variety with a soft, silky close.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
This wine has loads of balsam and menthol-like notes, which I find particularly attractive. Candied cherry almond and a brambly quality add more interesting layers. The wine’s impression on the palate is balanced yet lean with spicy crispness and a sour note on the finish.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Give this wine a few moments to open and you’ll be greeted by red fruit, roasted chestnut, coffee and vanilla. Made with Sangiovese and the Bursona Longanesi grape and aged in wood for two years, the wine is soft and round in the mouth with sour cherry on the finish.
