Soft and tannic, with jammy flavors of blackberries, cherries, dark chocolate and spices. Not showing much structure, and not going anywhere, so drink up.

Over-oaked, with caramelized vanilla aromas and flavors dominating. Under all that is a pretty good Cabernet, with blackberry and cherry flavors and smooth tannins.

Very ripe, rich and decadent, with flavors of blackberries, cherries, chocolate, anise, smoked butter, black pepper and sweet oak. Delicious right out of the bottle and for the next six years.
