Red-berry on the nose is jazzed up with spicy, oak-derived aromas. It’s bouncy and lighter-weight than you’d expect of a Sonoma Zin, thanks to raspberry and red-plum flavors on the palate, and cherry, cranberry and spicy barbecue flavors on the finish. —D.M.

This is the first wine from this new winery. Clean, light berry fruit is the whole show, and it’s a forward, fruity Zin with friendly, simple flavors.
