A tough, gritty wine, with hard, scoury tannins and the kind of brambly, briary wild berry flavors you might find in a Zinfandel. Finishes with peppery, sandpapery roughness. Might develop in the bottle, but it’s a gamble.

Warm and dry, yet super soft on the palate. A little smoky. The black pepper aroma isn't overdone.

A bit smoky and fruity nose. I can't pinpoint the taste, but I like it and it lingers a bit.

C'est Syrah! Dark fruit flavors throughout- chewy, without being jammy or a fruit bomb. Yum.
