The sweet and floral aromas may be too close to air freshener to be convincing. Almond candy, orange and dried apricot flavors work the palate, which finishes lemony and on the pithy side. Drink now.

Vegetal from start to finish, as the aromas begin with tomato and bell pepper. The palate is exactly the same, with baked, earthy, sweet and green flavors. Feels gummy in the mouth, and it’s not just herbal on the finish, it’s green.

Quite green and on the verge of deserving the dreaded weedy designation, this Cab fails to show much ripe fruit character even if the mouthfeel is decent. It’s like a wet-vintage cru bourgeois Bordeaux.
