Mint, pepper and berry aromas on an otherwise creamy nose gives this wan Carmenère some varietal character but beyond that there isn’t much. The fruit flavors are short, while pepper takes over on the back end and finish. A little bit of density makes the mouthfeel o.k., but overall it needs to offer more.
