Brownish in color, with not much fruit but plenty of mature subtleties like mulch, tobacco, leather and spice. The palate is soft, kind of sweet, and eventually settles on cherry tomato. A shy, mature, traditional wine that won’t rock the modern palate.

Rusty in color, with gaseous, mature aromas that take time to emerge and expand into tobacco and leather. The palate features roasted cherry, raspberry and even some peach nectar, while the feel is traditional, meaning it’s lean and based on a beam of acidity. Drink now.

Cherry and baked fruit carries the nose, followed by more cherry and some oaky vanilla. Plump but flat in terms of feel, with stewy finishing notes. Never finds much of a groove.
