Aromas of celery and root beer mix with flavors of dried spice and chocolate. Not for the fruit lover, this wine needs to settle so the tannins and awkward acidity even out.

Tasty coconut, vanilla and a hint of dill would lead you to believe American oak was used to fashion this wine. Juicy plum and cassis flavors are enjoyable, but a bit hollow in the midpalate, finishing with firm, drying tannins.
