91-93 Barrel sample. Dark and tannic, very smoky. Perfumed fruits go with oak and a complex structure. The Cabernet tannins are rounded out by juicy Merlot. The alcohol shows in a touch of pepper.

93-95 Great structured wine, with violet aromas, a lovely texture. There is a powerful center surrounded by darkly structured black fruits.
