Here’s a mature and jammy expression of Negroamaro from the Salento in southern Italy that will appeal to those who love a soft, fruit-forward red wine. Although the wine is aged only in glass and neutral cement, the grape imparts a touch of sassy spice on the close.

Rudiae is a soft and velvety expression of Primitivo (a grape that is genetically linked to Californian Zinfandel) with jammy aromas of black cherry, currant and sweet cinnamon or vanilla. The wine tastes plump and round and would pair with pasta al forno.
