Rich, smooth and silky, the wine shows good weight on the palate. Plum, fig, chocolate, coffee, spice and cedar flavors are at the core of this gently muscular, well-integrated wine. The finish is long and lush.

Lush and elegant, with intriguing blackberry, plum, spice, vanilla, currant and herb flavors. The tannins are ripe and smooth, but firm. The finish is long, ending with a fine balance of richness and brightness. The blend is 60% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. —J.M.
