Musky and spicy on the nose, with hints of rose petal and pineapple. With 16 g/L residual sugar, this is noticeably off-dry but not sweet by any measure, balanced by ample acidity and modest (13.5%) alcohol. A prerelease sample of the ’04 shows greater richness and length, and should be a wine to watch. Imported by Folio Fine Wine Partners.
