Somewhat coarse nose with aromas of leaves, wood, and sweet fruit; on first taste there is nice, sweet black fruit, but the wine quickly goes flat in the mouth assuming hard, unbalanced flavors with woody and harshly acidic flavors; tough at the end, although there is a smattering of fruit in the wine; overall quite disappointing though.
