Wonderfully perfumed and aromatic with black cherry and mixed red fruit aromas, peppery and spicy, swatches of herbs, quite sweet; sweet, ripe and smooth in the mouth with layers of black fruits; silky and smooth; spiced fruit and crabapple flavors; more complex and deeper than many Volnays tend to be; fresh and focused finish.
