This is a Sauternes style wine made from 67% Sauvingon Blanc and 33% Semillion that has been infected with botrytis; sweet apricot and peach aromas, honeyed and quite thick on the nose, but wonderfully wafting and seductive; very sweet and almost syrupy, but filled with flavors of apricots, vanilla, and pineapple; a good effort, but needs more depth and complexity; very good for the California style though.
