Complex, with horsey, leathery notes alongside roasted nuts, cedar and coffee. But where’s the fruit? It’s like it got lost in an oak forest on the way to the bottle. Still, our more oak-tolerant panelist loved this wine, so if you’re into Quercus maximus you may find our panel score stingy.
