Even though the vines were only planted in 1994, this is top-shelf stuff, dry grown, concentrated and intense. Bits of mint and licorice give dimension to the ripe blackberry and blueberry flavors, the mouthfeel is full and creamy and the finish turns dry and firm, showing solid structure. Approachable now, but probably best from 2010 to 2020.
