Has some odd pine resin notes that creep in on the nose and palate, joining predominantly simple apple flavors. Finshes clean and citrusy.

Heavy and syrupy, especially at first. Flavors of baked corn and mealy apple don’t amount to much. A bit of mushroom on the finish indicates early oxidization. Nothing special.

Some leather and hickory smoke dot the nose, and there’s some maple and whisky notes, too. The mouth is fruity and fresh, although deep at its core there seems to be a vegetal hint. The finish is spicy and warm.

Lean and youthful, a great value thanks to layers of exotic spice, sweet berry, red apple and cinnamon. Bright fruit appears in the mouth and the close is marked by a note of sour cherry.
