Q1: Where did you grow up?
A1: Winnetka, Illinois
Q2: What was the first time you remember drinking wine?
A2: At Yale, at Adulis Restaurant in New Haven, Connecticut, with my best friend Emily and her mom.
Q3: When did you start to like wine?
A3: The first time I remember tasting it! I became somewhat interested in wine when I spent a summer after my sophomore year in college in South Africa and visited the Western Cape Province. Then, when I studied abroad in The Netherlands, I gained more exposure/familiarity to European wine, developing a love for Provencal roses after enjoying them on my favorite cousin's boat in Amsterdam. Thereafter, throughout my 20's, I became a much more of a passionate wine enthusiast, passion that was enhanced by travels to wine regions in New Zealand, Austrailia, Napa, Oregon, Washington, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Tuscany, Alsace, etc etc etc.
Q4: If you were stranded on a desert island, what one type of food/wine would choose to have?
