Q1: If you were stranded on a desert island, what one type of food/wine would choose to have?
A1: WHITE ZINFANDEL
Q2: Where did you grow up?
A2: Buffalo,NY
Q3: What was the first time you remember drinking wine?
A3: Probably 15 or 16.
Q4: When did you start to like wine?
A4: My thirties.
Q5: Where do you drink wine mostly?
A5: Cocktail parties and with dinner.
Q6: What are your favorite types of wine? Varietals? Regions?
A6: I generally like light, fruity white wines. Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewurtztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, or Semillon, from France, California, Austria and New Zealand. Some of my favorite are Te Awa Sauvignon Blanc, Conundrum, Hundred Acre Gold, and Protero Viognier.
Q7: What are your favorite kinds of food?
A7: Italian, French, Chinese, classic American….
Q8: What are your favorite restaurants?
A8: Four Seasons, ‘21’, Primavera, Chin Chin, Gramercy Tavern, and Nations Caf? (our local diner), all in New York
Q9: What is your favorite wine and food pairing?
A9: I like white wine with everything! I am unconventional and proud of it. So I’d say sirloin steak and white zinfandel, even though my daughter will cringe.

A10: Swordfish or steak, with Sauvignon Blanc or White Zinfandel
