Q1: Where do you drink wine mostly?
A1: At home with home cooked meals
Q2: What are your favorite types of wine? Varietals? Regions?
A2: I used to like spare, refreshing whites but I'm evolving to like rounder, more buttery and rich chardonnays. I also used to like Cabernet the best but have expanded my repertoire to love all the red wines equally now - -with a special preference for earthy, smoky, leather notes.
Q3: What are your favorite kinds of food?
A3: I am a world wide cuisine eater. I love braised meats in the winter and grilled veggies, seafood and steak in the summer.
Q4: What are your favorite restaurants?
A4: In NYC- Morandi, Barburo, Wallse, Blue Hill, Peasant
Q5: What is your favorite wine and food pairing?
A5: champagne and oysters, rose and summer grilled meats
Q6: Do you cook? If so, what kind of food and for whom?
A6: All the time. Experimental cooking for my husband, family or occasional dinner parties
Q7: If you were stranded on a desert island, what one type of food/wine would choose to have?
A7: A braised beef with onions and root vegetables and a cabernet sauvignon
Q8: What are your favorite wine memories?
A8: vineyard tours in napa and sonoma, champagne and cheese nights with girlfriends in the city

A9: Cannonball Cabernet!
