The rose is fresh and easy to drink. I taste strawberries with a pleasant balance of acidity on the finish. 3 Notes

With ample fruit (blackberry, plum, cherry) and acidity I found this an excellent food wine. 1 Note

Both my husband and i very much liked this wine. It was fruity, but not too fruity. Very refreshing, and great with fish.....it was quite full...We really liked it. 1 Note

I wanted to like this one. I have always stuck up for the Merlots of the world, especially since some of my wine drinking friends don't much care for it. But I thought this was very bland. It starts out pretty good on the nose but once I tasted it... nothing. Just really flat and all flavors were pretty faint. Maybe it's that I have been having some bigger cabs lately but I still like a little pop to the merlot and this just did not have it. I doubt I'll be back for this one. 1 Note

Last glas of the Rimon; perfectly paired with FRAICHE natural yogurt/mochi/blueberries/wildflower honey. Even more wine-like, less pomegranate-esque as the days have gone by. A very tasty dessert wine. 4 Notes

Really smooth everyday drinker type of wine. Nothing exceptional in the profile, just a mellow smooth wine with a pleasant, short finish. I generally gravitate to huge cabernet and shiraz, but this is a very good wine for the price. 4 Notes

So sad to see this wine is out of stock. Any chance that Bottlenotes will be getting more?

Visited this winery on a trip to NZ and this chardonnay was very nice. Aged in stainless steal, it has a crisp, refreshing taste. Citrus notes and flavors abound. 2 Notes

I generally don't like tons of black pepper in a Shiraz, but Pretty Sally is an exception. It's a huge, extremely peppery wine whose pepper is balanced with a great fruity mid-palate. Generous finish. The pepper is very strong, so among my friends it was a love it or hate it wine, and the people who loved it were lovers of big wines like myself. Great wine for the price, it is definitely my favorite wine out of the first case I got from Bottlenotes. 4 Notes

Such a phenomenal Napa Cab. Cathy Corison really is "the best" when it comes to feminine Napa Cabs from the Valley floor. Her 2000 vintage is showing beautifully right now. No one better than Joyce & Bob to taste you through the line-up at the winery!
