Drink Red, Go Green

Drink Red, Go Green
Taste some great Russian River Pinots with wine-world leader Jean-Charles Boisset.

ladiesNext Friday is Earth Day. While you could honor this annual dedication to green living by shopping for a fleece made of recycled soda bottles, we have a much better suggestion: Taste some wine with us the night before.

On Thursday April 21 at 9pm EST, 6pm PST, join us for a live, interactive tasting with Jean-Charles Boisset, proprietor of DeLoach Vineyards and several other leading wineries committed to sustainable winegrowing. Jean-Charles will discuss all things sustainable, organic, and biodynamic as he leads this fun, informative, live video tasting of several vineyard-designate Pinot Noirs from Russian River Valley pioneer DeLoach Vineyards. He'll be joined by winemaker Brian Maloney.

If you'd like to taste along, click here to order a pack of sample-size DeLoach Pinots from TastingRoom.com. The mini bottles will be delivered right to your doorstep, and on the night of the tasting you'll go to www.bottlenotes.com/earthdaylive to sip and discuss the wines with us!

You can ask questions during the tasting using the Twitter hash tag #earthdaywine, or submit your question in advance by emailing earthday@bottlenotes.com.

While ideal, you don't need to have a tasting kit to join; you can always go grab a bottle of DeLoach Pinot Noir at a retailer near you--or just be a live-tasting gawker. You'll get your Earth Day kudos for participating no matter what. Click here to order your tasting kit now to make sure it arrives before next Thursday night.

We look forward to celebrating Earth Day with you!
