Get A Taste Of Portugal
Discover its great wines--and support a good cause.

PortugalWines of Portugal invites you to its Annual Wine Tasting in San Francisco on Wednesday April 6, 2011. You don't want to miss this unique tasting of more than 150 wines, in which you'll discover the diversity of Portugal--from the dry reds of Bairrada to the delicious whites of the Minho. You'll also get to try the best selections from the newly renamed Tejo and Lisbon regions, as well as the progressive offerings from Alentjo and Duoro.

The Grand Tasting starts at 5:30pm. Iberian appetizers (check out the menu!) will be served, so don't worry about getting hungry--or feeling too tipsy after a few glasses of Vinho Verde. There will also be a Master Class at 6pm, "Modern Portugal: Explore Contemporary Approaches, Classic Grapes and Exciting Wines," featuring a selection of ten wines from eight regions.

Not only will you get to taste a fabulous array of wines, you'll also be doing some good. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Meals on Wheels of San Francisco.

Tickets are only $35 for the Grand Tasting if purchased online at least a day before the event; or pay $50 at the door (cash only). Tickets for the Master Class and the grand tasting are $50 online, one day in advance, $65 at the door. There are only 45 seats for the Master Class, so click here to get your tickets now.
