Destiny Bay Magna Praemia - 2005
| Tasting Notes: |
Magna Praemia is of the school of cult New Zealand reds that seem to defy categorization. A Bordeaux blend made from 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, this fantastically complex red incorporates the finesse of a Pinot Noir, the peppery spice of a Syrah, the herbs and licorice of a Brunello and the classic creme de cassis of a top Left Bank Bordeaux. Aromas and flavors of dried raspberries, concentrated plums and pomegranate are backed by meat, pepper and herbal notes, all tied together in a delicately lush finish that's totally classy. One to drink or save. |

Destiny Bay Mystae 2005
| Tasting Notes: |
The Mystae has a dense plumy nose with characteristic cabernet hints of dark berries, subtle spicy vanilla tones from oak aging and lifted nuances of preserved guava. It is subtle and plump in the mouth with a fine caress of tannins. |
