The Eradus 2006 Pinot Noir is from 100% hand-picked grapes.  After fermentation, 70% of the wine was placed in old French Oak and matured for 9 months.  The remaining 30% was matured in a stainless tank to promote the fruitiness and elegance of the wine and to ensure a good oak balance. The nose is quintessentially pinot noir, with lovely fruit characteristics and silky tannins on the palate. The finish is smooth and long with a nice hint of acidity.
