Arzuaga, right next door to the illustrious Vega Sicilia, still offers stunning old-school Tempranillo, now produces this lovely, drinkable-... (more...)when-young charmer, aged in American oak for 3-4 months just enough to get some complexity, but not enough to overpower the exhuberent fruit. Medium to firm, finely grained tannins and medium to high acidity giving backbone to the generous fruit. Long finish.
