Castillo di Jumilla, Blanco (Jumilla) - 2010

Tasting Note

“Deep in South-central Spain, Jumilla is becoming increasingly well known for its delicious white wines. In Rioja, Macabeo is known as... (more...) Viura and gives the great Rioja blancos their rich, waxy texture. In Jumilla, the Macabeo is transformed into delicious, brisk and thirst-quenching white wines. This one casts a brilliant pale green-gold hue from the glass followed by aromas of freshly cut white flowers, kiwi, melon and quince. It complements its fresh green fruit expressions with a lilting undercurrent of salty minerals. The Macabeo finishes as refreshingly as it began, and will be a terrific partner to prawns, halibut, monkfish and summer veggies [all grilled if possible].” Edited from linerandelsen.com
