A firm and fruity red with violet mineral and berry character. Medium- to full-bodied with fresh acidity and a medium finish. The Cheval Noir brand name was first registered in 1895 and this wine has been a thoroughbred of the renowned Bordeaux negociant Mähler-Besse stable for over 60 years.
