Tasting Note

“The 2009s are just slightly higher in alcohol and a bit denser, but exhibit essentially the same characteristics (as the 2008’s... (more...)) – kirsch, roasted Provencal herbs, loamy soil notes, pepper and spice. They are perfumed and display more density, but again never seem to lose any of the silkiness and velvety texture that make these wines so appealing. Both cuvees tend to be mostly Grenache, with some Syrah and Mourvedre.”Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
