Tasting Note

As with all Rickshaw wines, despite the modest price, we aim for distinctiveness, balance and deliciousness in our 2011 Rickshaw Chardonnay.... (more...) With Chablis as the center of our Chardonnay universe, it can sometimes be difficult to craft something at this price that speaks to our sensibilities. But craft it we have! Utilizing cool vineyard sites in Mendocino and the Sonoma Coast the 2011 Rickshaw offers a zingy, racy and lemony treat preceeded by aromas of apple and pear. The incredibly cool vintage aided in adding another layer of refreshing acidity to the mix. This wine has energy to burn. Made all in stainless steel tanks with no-malo. This is your house white wine for summer 2012, no doubt about it!
