Tasting Note

Louis Vavasour's folks are the pioneers who planted the first vineyards in 1986 in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. This Pinot is his third ... (more...)vintage. He also makes Riesling, Chardonnay and, of course, Sauvignon Blanc. His goal is to capture not only the specific _terroir_ of this corner of the Northern end of the South Island but also its maritime and farming life style. A lovely Pinot full of red berry flavors as well as a bold palate and fine finish.
