Taittinger is one of the best of France's newer Champagne houses, having made its debut in 1945 after Pierre Taittinger purchased the Fourne... (more...)aux Champagne house and gave it his own name, Taittinger. Pierre's two sons, Francois and Claude, have sustained the Champagne house's strong growth. Besides making outstanding bubbly, Taittinger is one of the top vineyard owners in Champagne, with more than 600 acres of the best sites under its ownership.

The artist’s design (above) graces a bottle of the 2002 vintage of Taittinger Brut Millésimé, which is produced only in the best years from select Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown in vineyards in several of the finest microclimates of France’s Champagne region.
