Winery Story
"The Fèvre family has been in the Chablis region for more than 250 years. By World War II, William Fèvre’s father had become recognized... (more...) for his winemaking style and then in 1959, William followed in his footsteps and announced his first harvest. William Fèvre personally worked each plot enthusiastically and skillfully so as to make wine whose personality reflected the authenticity of the soils from which the grapes were grown.
In 1998, the venerable Henriot family from Champagne succeeded him. To continue the efforts of William Fèvre, the new team at the Domaine was given an opportunity to make indisputably
genuine and exquisite wines, and above all to bring along their very personal expertise in
Chardonnay. All the efforts have to this day but one goal – to finely express the most subtle variationsin the greatest Chablis crus."
Tasting Note
“A slightly riper nose features notes of mineral reduction, seaweed and green fruit where the minerality is also picked up by the deta... (more...)iled, pure and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess good mid-palate density and solid length on the balanced finish.”Burghound.com
