Winery Story
"The Fèvre family has been in the Chablis region for more than 250 years. By World War II, William Fèvre’s father had become recognized... (more...) for his winemaking style and then in 1959, William followed in his footsteps and announced his first harvest. William Fèvre personally worked each plot enthusiastically and skillfully so as to make wine whose personality reflected the authenticity of the soils from which the grapes were grown.
In 1998, the venerable Henriot family from Champagne succeeded him. To continue the efforts of William Fèvre, the new team at the Domaine was given an opportunity to make indisputably
genuine and exquisite wines, and above all to bring along their very personal expertise in
Chardonnay. All the efforts have to this day but one goal – to finely express the most subtle variationsin the greatest Chablis crus."
Tasting Note
Another great value from our friends at the remarkable Chablis estate of William Fevre. A clean, fresh, bright nose that offers good charact... (more...)er of flowers and green fruit.Lots of energy and fine mineral-infused flavors that are both delicious and long lasting. This is way beyond generic village Chablis.
