My bottle was a wee bit corked so perhaps my tasting will not be fair for this wine, but I found it average and not at all complex. I get the liqourice and the wood, but not much else, the no structure to the tannins - nothing there. No spice at all. It lingers with a slightly bitter/sour taste, but again this may be because it was a little off. 2 stars only on benefit of the doutbt that this was simply a bad bottle - this bottle was 1 star. Not a $110 bottle of wine!
