Arabella Pink Panacea

Winery Story

Located in the great Robertson Valley of the South Western Cape in South Africa lays Arabella Estate.  This winery is rich with family hist... (more...)ory and how one man’s vision turned an arid desert into a land of flourishing vines. Arabella is where wine and horses have always played a prominent role, as the red, calcarious soils seem to favor them both. Arabella wines are an incredible value and continue to be discovered by those who can appreciate the quality of fine wine without the cost. At Arabella we have a very simple objective: we endeavour to make the best wine possible. Achieving this goal is our passion. The name Arabella was chosen as a word play on the beautiful Arabian horses, which grace its verdant pastures. Stephen de Wet and son Jamie are both very keen endurance riders. The de Wet's have been making wines in Robertson Valley for over 5 generations.

Tasting Note

"Cherry pink colour with delicious mouth filling flavors of peach, melon and mangoes. Gentle, fruity tannins give a dry finish."

Delicious, smoky rose. Smells and tastes like fruity candy.

This is a surprisingly good rosé. Floral, full, and smokey. It'll even clear your sinuses a bit. Probably my favorite wine from Arabella
